Pan European lighting performance signs have been launched to confirm the performance of traditional lamps and LED lamps. Enec+ provides performance certification for lamps in the European market, which is co operated by the European Electrical Product Certification Association (EEPCA) and Lighting Europe, covering both the LED and traditional lamps. The founders want it to be the only performance standard in Europe, replacing the country's chaotic performance code. The certification program leaves room for technical and legal progress. The plan will cover the established life performance of LED lights, according to market demand and technological advances, will likely include other aspects, such as ecological design and performance of higher performance.
The logo allows the product to be fully traceable to the online database that contains the reference and features of all certified products. This is a voluntary participation program, only Enec security certified products are eligible for Enec+ logo.
